This project has the goal to reimplement the first version of the Unreal Engine, as used by Unreal, Unreal Tournament, Deus Ex, etc... It cannot be qualified of a port as no sources have been released by Epic. This project is starting from scratch and yes it is a big job. Info is scarce but still available. Some sources from Unreal Tournament are still hanging out and will provide usefull information about the engine and its internals. As for now this project is still in planning stage.
For now there's nothing to download, but you can still find the Google Code project page here.
Anybody interested in contributing to this project is welcome. Good knowledge of C++ and of the Unreal Engine is necessary.
